Victor’s Window
Victor has broken his leg, and when you break a leg there is no more running about or playing with the other boys on the grass downstairs. So Victor is cross. He thinks it is no fun sitting on his balcony watching the others.
Luckily he has a vivid imagination and in no time at all he tries being a dog and a pro footballer – though it always turns out that being a little boy is best.
Real life has another treat in store, too: while Victor is imprisoned on his balcony a new girl and her dog appear on the grass outside. They are the only ones to as much as look at Victor – and at the stroke of a wand he makes two new friends.
