The President From The North

Can a person blossom as a president and create a new democratic Somalia after 47 years away from his native country? This is what the 67-year-old Ahmed Dualeh believes, as he packs his suitcase and heads towards the country that he dreams of restoring, based on the values that he has come to appreciate after living in the cold northern Denmark for most of his adult life. Nevertheless, the dream will turn out to differ a lot from the Somali reality. The resistance is great, and the victories are few. Meanwhile, as time passes, his foundation is slipping away from underneath him. He slips farther and farther away from his family back in Denmark.
