Info

Piece by piece, a long life filled with deception is reconstructed. The series blends family drama, suspense, and gradual revelations, as Didrik uncovers layers of secrecy, betrayal, and identity. Viewed through the eyes of Didrik (the son) and with contributions of archival materials and flashbacks, we see how the absent father, Bjørn Hallstrøm, may have lived a double life - possibly working covertly for foreign intelligence, and the emotional cost such a life exacted on those closest to him. Throughout, the series asks universal questions: Where do we come from, and who do we really belong to?
