In the Mountains of the North West corner of Vietnam the many ethnic tribes face difficult times. Growing tourism is turning their culture into a museum item. At the age of 11-13 many village girls are sent to town to sell handicrafts.

They make money by accompanying the tourists on treks – at night they also sing and dance in their traditional way at the bars.In this docu drama we meet three girls who where approached by UNICEF andwho are now attending a boarding school. Will they fall back to the dangerous, but ‘easy’ tourist-money life?
