Riis Reset

Riis Reset follows former pro-cyclist, now owner of the professional cycling team Saxo-Tinkoff, Bjarne Riis during one of the most difficult and challenging times of his life. It is an intimate and amazing journey through the world of professional cycling and Bjarne Riis’ personal life with his family – just as it takes surprising turns.

In 1996 Bjarne Riis won Tour de France. 12 years later he admitted to extensive use of doping. Now his team is on the verge of a similar fall. Once the best in the world, financial difficulties and poor performances almost forces Riis to shut the team down in 2012.

And when Tyler Hamilton, former star of the team, makes new severe allegations against his former employee, Riis’ life achievement is about to collapse. With unique and unprecedented access to one of cycling’s most enigmatic key players, this film allows Riis to tell his story.
