On a calm and sunny day of February 2000, the coaster, Thor Emilie, was sailing the Mediterranean Sea when suddenly the coaster shook with an enormous explosion. In less than one minute, Thor Emilie and six crewmembers disappeared into the water- only the captain survived.
Now, for the first time ever, the captain tells the story of the tragic voyage and we reconstruct the final and crucial days on board Thor Emilie.
All things indicate that there was something fishy about the cargo on board the coaster; it was not as harmless as the owner had told the captain.
We contact the owner of the cargo- a Swiss company, one of the world’s largest producers of raw material – to question them in this matter. The Danish police are also investigating the case. They believe that the company may be guilty of negligent homicide in the deaths of the six crewmembers.
Now, five years after the loss, the police fear that those responsible will go free. The captain simply will not risk it, so he takes matters into his own hands.
