Developed for toddlers and children between 1-3 years, Minisjang is a fun and playful universe based on extensive research undertaken by DR, where key insights to children’s cognitive learning are activated throughout the series. Through this research as well as guidance from an advisory board, Minisjang provides children with the best tools in their natural development. Minisjang was created with the goal to provide the best possible public-service content for children. The universe is comprised of small, simple, and universal stories, where music and dance are a key feature as they pose a vital aspect for young children’s linguistic and cognitive development. To help out with our mission to endlessly engage and entertain children is Børste, who is the host figure on DRTV as well as on the Minisjang app. With his love of learning, Børste inspires young children to be curious about the world around them. While being a safe place for the youngest to explore and play, Minisjang at the same time helps parents by mirroring small everyday challenges such as brushing their children’s teeth, getting them dressed or washing their hands. Minisjang is a place where children and their parents can laugh and sing together and remind the families of the small joys in life.
