Adam and the Music
Hungarian-born Adam Fischer has worked with some of Europe’s great orchestras and is the chief conductor of the Dan-ish National Chamber Orchestra. The documentary follows him and the orchestra during the recording of W.A. Mozart’s Symphony no. 25.
In an accessible, yet humoristic and entertaining way, Fischer ex-plains the role of the conductor, talks about the essence of a classical orchestra and elaborates on how he works with the musicians, motivating and convincing everyone to work with his vision of the music.
The documentary draws a portrait of a man for whom music is a way to understand and experience one’s own feelings.
