A group of kids live on a completely ordinary suburban street. But one evening, a mysterious green light suddenly shines across the road. The next morning, 9-year-old Hugo discovers that his best friend Anders and his family are missing without a trace. A scary man suddenly shows up at Anders’ house, and now Hugo and his friends on the street are forced to help each other find out who the man is, what he is doing there, and how they can get their friend and his family back. A GREEN LIGHT MYSTERY is the exciting story about a group of kids who must find their missing friend, but it is also the story of being part of a community of completely ordinary kids with common everyday problems related to friendships and family. The series aims to mirror the lives of 6–8-year-olds, when starting school and great demands are placed on the children’s social skills. Here they are on their own and forced to deal with the problems themselves, and that is the reality that THE GREEN LIGHT MYSTERY reflects in its story.
